At NU, we go above and beyond to make our clients part of the design equation. This time the latter confided in us that his past experience in the army as a spy really impacted his lifestyle. As creepy as it sounds, spying became his daily habit. We took this opportunity to design something uniquely his, a house carved out using spying tools equipped with different spying lookouts. The smooth white exterior render was used in order not to overshadow the purity of the external form. The street facade acts as a shading device, blocking the direct sunlight from getting into the windows and providing outdoor space. The interior boasts a cold minimalist vibe straight from a spy movie, playing with different textures but at the same time minimising contrast.
